On the behalf of our client, we are seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Mississauga.

Compensation: up to 60K

Hybrid Role: 2-3 days a week in office; 2 days at home
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by answering all customer inquiries within the same day whenever feasible or within 24-hours of inquiry, including exceptions, rates, other fees and track & trace
  • Further increase customer satisfaction and business share through proactive and regular contact Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Resolve freight related issues ; prepare and submit reports
  • Communicate with and ensure release of the freight from ocean carriers
  • Arrange for pick-up of cargo from carrier location
  • Notify customer / broker of arrival and charges
  • Arrange transportation of freight to consignee destination
  • Updating internal electronic systems as required
  • Planning & Organizing (Ability to prioritize, plan, assign & control)
  • 3+ years Sea Import Coordination experience
  • Time management (monitoring performance against deadlines and milestones)
  • Languages : Excellent command of verbal and written English
  • Bilingual is an asset
